At VAIOT, we strive towards being as transparent as possible, even during difficult times. After our recent announcement about the new $VAI token deployment, we have found that there are still many questions about the exact process for redeployment and reimbursement. Thus, in this article, we’ll be highlighting some further details of the plan and shed a light on how $VAI reimbursement will happen.
The entire redeployment plan has a few phases. In the first phase, VAIOT has deployed the new token contract for ETH and Polygon. After deployment, the new token contract was sent to the CEXs on which $VAI is listed: KuCoin, Gate.io. Currently, the team is awaiting a date for token swap and resuming trading at both centralized exchanges. Once the date is received we will be announcing it in our official communication channels. Uniswap relisting will follow CEXs on resuming trading. Gate.io and KuCoin respectively will swap the old $VAI for the new token and re-enable open trading. Both platforms will release the exact dates for this via their official channels.
Next, VAIOT will be airdropping the new $VAI token to its holders. Airdropping the new $VAI token will happen as follows:
- Holders of $VAI will receive the airdrop on Polygon.
- Pre-stakers (both v1 & v2) of $VAI will also receive the airdrop on Polygon.
- Liquidity Pool stakers on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) will receive the airdrop of $VAI on Polygon. Additionally, an airdrop of BNB on BSC.
- Liquidity Pool stakers on Ethereum (Uniswap) will receive their airdrop as Liquidity Pool tokens, and will be able to either keep the liquidity tokens or withdraw these for $VAI and $ETH.
VAIOT will also prepare a new liquidity staking contract with high rewards for all who decide to support the project by adding liquidity on Uniswap. The relaunch on Uniswap is dependent on the CEX token swap dates, after which the final phase will be to redeploy the liquidity staking contract for Uniswap, which is planned on the same day as the Uni relaunch.
Now, that might leave you with one additional question: “How will the token market introduction plan happen?”. We will redeploy the token as soon as it is possible on each of our supported CEXes. We will resume the trading at CEX at the earliest possible time that they are able, and we will redeploy on Uniswap as soon as we are certain that the trading is functional and stable on CEXs. This is to ensure users do not send tokens to CEXes without the token being supported, leading to a loss of funds.
The expected initial deployment order will be as follows: Gate, Kucoin, UNISWAP, Polygon airdrop. Once this process is complete, all tokens will be back on the market, completing the recovery and redeployment plan.
