VAIOT is excited to announce that we will be launching $VAI Pre-Staking 2.0 ahead of Mainnet.
We are thrilled to get started on this new phase of staking. With pre-staking 2.0 we were able to make further progress on previous staking rounds, the staking functionalities are further integrated, debugged and $VAI holders can start staking their $VAI with a higher APR.
Both pre-staking campaigns 1.0 and 2.0 will be running simultaneously for a short while, after which pre-staking 1.0 will be finalized on February 8th, 2022. Please note that while it will still be possible to withdraw any assets on the pre-staking 1.0 smart contract, no rewards will be calculated after this date. We, therefore, urge everyone interested in long-term ROI, to move their staking assets to the new pre-staking contract.
That said, pre-staking 2.0 will be active for the next 6 months and will run alongside Mainnet staking to ease the transition and give $VAI holders enough time to get used to Cosmos staking.
Furthermore, pre-staking 2.0 will introduce a fixed APR rather than the gradual APR increase as with pre-staking 1.0. Pre-staking 2.0 APR will be set at 40%.
Both pre-staking 1.0 and 2.0 will be available within the same frontend at https://staking.vaiot.ai/ .
